Just this past weekend, I was cleaning out the garage when I happened upon a number of CD’s and DVD’s that I hadn’t seen in years. Guess it’s time to auction those off. But wait, that is just too much trouble. I have to take photos of the CD’s, write a description, post all the info, pay insertion fees. Yeah, there has got to be a better way to get rid of those unwanted CD’s and DVD’s.
I have to admit that I’m lazy when it comes to selling DVD’s, games, music or other unwanted media on one of the online auction sites. It’s just not worth it to me. You list the item and then hopefully it will sell for more than a the minimum price…. But maybe not? I need a solution to this. I want to get this stuff gone now.
Enter Music Magpie
Music Magpie is an online buyer of CD’s, games and DVD’s.
How does Music Magpie work
1. Enter the bar code of the item that you would like to sell. There need to be at least 10 of them, but hey, who doesn’t have at least 10 movies or games lying around that they need to knock the dust off of. If you have and Ipad or Iphone you can use the Music Magpie app and scan them in that way, or even use your webcam. The Music Magpie system will give you an instant evaluation of your items and tell you how much they are worth.
2. One you have entered the required information on the website, for at least 10 titles, you can print out the FREE shipping labels and mail your stuff to Music Magpie. Either USPS or UPS is accepted. This can be dropped off at your local store/post office, or you can even arrange for pickup at your front door. How much easier could it be??
3. Get you MONEY! Once Music Magpie has received your items, they will be reviewed and you will receive your check in just a few days! It’s as easy as that. No auctions, no photos, no listing fees no wondering “will it sell”.
Sounds like I need to get my act together and sell some stuff! I know there is plenty waiting on me, just looking as I type there are at least 4 or 5 games underneath the TV that I don’t even remember playing. Guess it’s time to sign on to Music Magpie.
