Well, it’s back to reality tomorrow

Back to work

Well, that’s it!  I guess all good things must come to an end.  It’s back to work tomorrow. I guess I can’t complain.  I have a job, and I am fortunate enough to be able to take off over 3 weeks with the new baby.  So it isn’t all bad, just a little disappointing that I have to leave baby E with mom tomorrow.

On the good side, well… there is a good side right.  I do have a job, and can say that I am blessed in that respect.

Geocaching with the Family

Also, on the plus side of things, I got to go geocaching today with the family.  Geocaching, what is that?  Well, basically you use a GPS to find hidden containers in the woods, in the parking lot at Walmart, or at your local partk.  Inside of the container is a log book, a pen (hopefully) and some trinkets to trade.  You find the container using your GPS, with coordinates provided on the geocaching website. When you find it you, sign the log book, trade a trinket if you like and replace it (as you found it) to be hunted for by the next geocacher.

We, as a family, have been geocaching for about 3 years now.  Sometimes more than others, but we have’t quite yet, and don’t look to in the near future.  It is something to do, and I can honestly say it has taken me places that I never would have seen otherwise.

Oh well, that’s it for now.  Not the end of the world, just a tough train back to reality. And does it have to start on a Monday?  Can’t weeks just start on Tuesday, or would that mess them up too?

  1. Congrats on the new baby and I am sorry that reality is hitting again. LOL. Also, I have read so much about geocaching and it sounds pretty cool but for some reason we never started and I think my kids might actually like it. It would like their own little adventure out in the world.
